I started working as a photojournalist as an undergrad at University of California in San Diego in 1989. Once I had a camera in my hand, I just knew what I was meant to do... make a difference.

That definition has changed for me over the years. At first it was about photographing for newspapers, breaking news and telling stories. Then it was about showing the world a side of Israel that wasn't being fairly portrayed by the media. Then it was documenting culture and rights of passage with Quinceañera Park.

More recently it has been about giving each family beautiful photographs as they celebrate their life by getting married, having babies, and creating their own history.
