Jamie & Billy's Wedding at Tlaquepaque, Sedona

They were married on October 10 at the beautiful Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village in Sedona, Arizona.

Jamie looked amazing... very retro, timeless, original. Ron created this beautiful portrait before the ceremony.

I am already jumping to the end of the wedding ceremony, but I can't help myself. This is definitely in my top 5 list for best kisses. Billy effortlessly dipped her and surprised everyone. A total WOW kiss.

Rev. Joel Boyd performed their ceremony at the Patio de las Campanas at Tlaquepaque. I love this photograph because he is so excited to announce them husband and wife that he practically threw his notes up into the air and I vaguely remember a "woohoo."

And Jamie and Billy's wedding also garnered another mention on my top 5 list for most memorable weddings (ever) when one of the guests pulled me out of the way of a luminaria that had caught on fire (at my feet) before their ceremony, which by the way was a gorgeous detail.

Gorgeous sunset at Tlaquepaque and the perfect location for some romantic portraits on the terrace.

That dip rocked my world ... so I had Billy perform that graceful move in several locations that night, and Jamie was more than willing to oblige.

This photograph was taken at their reception on the Calle Independencia at Tlaquepaque. My photojournalism background serves me well in moments like these capturing the emotion that weddings bring out in everyone and not getting in the way.

Their reception was everything you hope for ... beautifully designed by my favorite Rosalie's of Sedona, not to mention the delicious food they created; unique floral by Events by Showstoppers, music by Ray the DJ, and a great cake by Sedona Sweet Arts.

Is this the best cake cutting photo ever? I think so!

Shania & Aaron in Northern Arizona

I just photographed the cutest kids ever!

Sarah has been appreciating my photography for a few years now. So when I bumped into her husband Aaron at a local restaurant, I mentioned that photographs of their kids would make a great gift for Sarah, and were there any special occasions coming up? Aaron said that Sarah's birthday was only a few days away. Perfect!

When Sarah called me a few days after her birthday, she said that she cried when Aaron gave her the gift certificate.

Darling Shania.

Cowboy Aaron.

Shania is a year older than Aaron, and they are so sweet together.

Shania has the most amazing wardrobe - her mom has great taste and a real talent for making clothes, tutus, and accessories.

Aaron would wear his Spiderman costume every minute of every day if he could.

Really sweet kids. I've known them since Aaron was a baby and Shania was in gymnastics with Lola.

After the photo shoot (and 90 minutes of non-stop cardio for Sarah) I said, "Next year I'll tell Aaron to get you a spa treatment for your birthday." Happy birthday Sarah!

KC at Cathedral Rock, Sedona

I have been photographing the most amazing people lately! I love shooting portraits and blessedly I am getting lots of requests to do so.

KC reminded me a lot of myself ... she loves to travel, did so by herself for four years, and visited some of my favorite places like Israel. She also lived in Sedona a bit and showed me a trail at Cathedral Rock that I had never explored. Thank you!

KC has a lot of different sides to her - she lives in San Francisco, is co-founder of Debt Angels International, and is a professional financial planner.

She also teaches meditation.

This spot she shared with me is a Sedona energy vortex in addition to one of her favorite places in the world.

Not to mention that she is gorgeous!

I was enjoying myself so much that I lost track of time and we ended up hiking back by the full moon rising and a spectacular sunset.
