Kimberly + Gary's Wedding at the Agave in Sedona

They were married on September 19th at the beautiful Agave of Sedona.

If anyone had seen Kimberly's shoes before the wedding, they would have known what she and Gary had been secretly planning and practicing ... an awesome hip hop "first dance." In fact, they were more nervous about performing their surprise for their guests than getting through their wedding ceremony.

Kimberly's sister surprised her with their mother's ring before the wedding ceremony. It was quite a tearful and sentimental moment, but it also brought joy by having a symbol of their mom present at Kimberly's wedding.

The day was amazing. Totally stormy with lightening and thunder, but once the wedding started... the rain stopped, the sky was dramatic, and the red rocks views from the Agave were unbelievably spectacular for Kimberly and Gary's wedding. Rev. Andrew Murphy of Heart of Sedona Weddings performed a really thoughtful ceremony. Kimberly's beautiful flowers were created by none other than Bliss Extraordinary Floral of Sedona, of course.

Kimberly totally enjoyed her wedding, every single moment, which she said she waited a long time for ... sometimes it just takes a while to meet the right one. And it's absolutely worth it (but it would be nice knowing when you're in your twenties that your dreams will come true, albeit for some of us, speaking from experience, a little later than expected perhaps.)

Gary's killer smile.

Kimberly is the master of expression ... she was super fun to photograph!

And then they were pronounced husband and wife ... what a stellar reaction.

We stayed on-site for romantic portraits so Kimberly and Gary could enjoy their reception as soon as possible. I love this portrait of the two of them!

Kimberly looked stunning in her wedding dress.

And here is their surprise dance. Projected on the wall behind them it says, "Today I will Marry my friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love." Wow.

His reaction says it all ... their dance was a hit!

Bobby Russell of Sedona Sounds kept the energy up and the party going with a great selection and timing of music.

And Bonnie of Rosalie's of Sedona created a breathtaking event and delicious food.

Kimberly & Gary's friends -- it was such a great celebration of love and starting a life together -- the spirit of happiness was shared by everyone.

Shira + Jesse's Wedding at Tlaquepaque, Sedona

They were married on September 6, 2009 at the beautiful Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village.

Shira was escorted by her father. Her wedding dress was a family heirloom.

Jesse & Shira had a beautiful jewish ceremony under a huppah on Tlaquepaque's Terrace above the Patio del Norte. There were 100 guests that traveled from all over the world.

Jesse's groomsmen held up the talit that covered the huppah.

Colorful bouquets and really pretty floral were created by Bliss Extraordinary Floral, Amy Mills and her talented team.

Shira looked ethereal. She had make-up done by the wonderful Liz Margin.

This is the moment where the Rabbi reads the ketubah, the jewish wedding contract.

After their ceremony and yihud, Jesse whisked Shira away to their reception in the Tlaquepaque Ballroom, impeccably designed and deliciously catered by Rosalie's of Sedona. DJ Bobby Russell kept the energy flowing and Donna Joy of Sedona Sweet Arts created her consistently yummy and always beautiful wedding cake.

I have to tell you that Shira's wedding was gorgeous and somehow she planned it in only one month. Unbelievable. BUT you couldn't tell! It says a lot about the team she worked with from Sedona ... to make Shira's wedding look flawless.

The next day, Shira & Jesse had more wedding portraits created at Red Rock Crossing in Sedona. The atmosphere was perfect.

Jesse wanted a portrait of Shira being carried away ... and I think he could have and would have carried her all the way to the top of Cathedral Rock if she had wanted him to.

They were really fun, adventurous, and silly to photograph. I love this photo of Shira ... so glamorous and free.

Mazel Tov ... we wish you a wonderful life together ... b'shalom v'ahava.

Alison & Adam's Wedding at L'Auberge de Sedona

They were married on September 5, 2009 at the spectacular L'Auberge de Sedona.

Anthony Flesch of Weddings in Sedona performed a beautiful ceremony in the Meditation Room at the Amara Resort & Spa. The red rock views were amazing, especially with the dramatic weather. It was a two location wedding due to an unexpected rainstorm that moved the ceremony from L'Auberge's hilltop to it's sister location, but Meghan Rudolph, the Event Coordinator and Certified Wedding Specialist for both L'Auberge and Amara Resort, handled it seamlessly and everyone was happy.

Then after the ceremony, we were able to create some gorgeous romantic portraits at L'Auberge's hilltop ceremony site. Alison's lovely bouquet was created by Bliss Extraordinary Floral.

And also aside L'Auberge's beautiful Oak Creek.

Alison and Adam have a very cool story about how they met. They were both at an Arizona Diamondback's game wearing Chicago Cubs shirts, which I'm sure made them wildly unpopular. BUT Adam didn't get Alison's phone number. Luckily, the fates smiled upon Adam, and he found her again at another Diamondback's game a few months later where they were both wearing their Chicago Cubs shirts again.

Camille & Ben's Wedding at Tlaquepaque, Sedona

They were married on August 29, 2009 at the beautiful Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village in Sedona, Arizona.

The evening before their wedding Cammie & Ben invited all of their guests to a sunset hike at Bell Rock. This is how the hike started ... with Cammie running ... and it is one of very few photographs where I am ahead of everybody. Did I mention that Cammie is an extreme sports adventure guide and fitness model?

Cammie & Ben stayed at the amazing Lighthouse in Sedona with many of their friends. It (only) sleeps 16 and has beautiful indoor/outdoor spaces with flavors of Indonesia, Japan, Morocco and East Indian cultures. If I win the lottery, I plan on buying it!

Oh ... and here is a photograph of Cammie's gorgeous, sexy, wedding dress, which was featured with Cammie on TLC's Say Yes to the Dress -- "Ties that Bind."

Cammie started getting ready at the Lighthouse in Sedona ... total star quality & beauty!

At 5:38pm and 26 seconds, the dress was put over Cammie's head in the Bridal Suite at Tlaquepaque by her sisters, bridesmaids, and mothers. Four minutes later she was still standing in the same spot with her arms up in the air surrounded by "helpful" friends and family. I love the moments that make great wedding stories!

And she looked gorgeous once you could see her face again :)

Cammie & Ben's wedding ceremony at Tlaquepaque was at the Patio de las Campanas.

I always tell my clients two things before their wedding ceremony: (1) Look at each other during the ceremony instead of the officiant ... as it makes better pictures (2) Either give me a long kiss or a lot of short ones ... and it's the bride's choice.

Cammie & Ben didn't disappoint me. Cammie hushed her wedding guests as they started to cheer this marathon kiss with the perfect gesture.

Another Hollywood kiss.

The gorgeous couple.

Blinded by the bling.

Their reception was on Calle Indepenencia at Tlaquepaque and the ambiance was romantic, fun, and joyful. The afternoon had started out so windy and rainy that it had seemed like the wedding was going to be overshadowed by a monsoon ... yet the skies were clear and calm by the time the ceremony started. Totally miraculous.

There was an impromptu dance where Cammie was joined by her dad and her sisters ... this was the beginning of the dance before the other two joined.

And Cammie & Ben led the Horah.

And the Jewish Chair Dance.

And the elegant cake cutting ... and feeding ... and I think Cammie won this round :)

This was hilarious. During the garter toss, Cammie hid some rather large leopard panties for Ben to find. The crowd loved it. And it really exemplified the kind of person Cammie is and the kind of wedding Cammie & Ben hosted. FUN, FUN, FUN.

And we wish you a super FUN, happy, loving, healthy, adventurous life together!
