Katherine + Jonathan

They were married on May 9th at the Agave of Sedona.

Katherine got ready at the Inn of Sedona with the help of friends and family.

Katherine's dad was so sweet; When he looked at his daughter in her wedding dress he teared up. Moments like this really make me wish that my dad had been at my wedding.

Anthony Flesch of Weddings in Sedona performed a beautiful ceremony at the Agave of Sedona with Sedona's gorgeous red rocks in the background. The lovely flowers were created by Show Stoppers.

Katherine had that "star quality" -- she was so expressive and full of light, it was hard to take your eyes off of her. I love the way she is looking at Jonathan during their vows -- she absolutely glows.

Jonathan got a high five from his dad during the ceremony and one from his mom at the recessional.

Katherine and Jonathan's kiss was a great one when they were announced husband and wife, but the one immediately after their ceremony was definitely Top Ten in my wedding photography experience.

We ventured to Marg's Draw at Schnebly in Sedona for romantic portraits at sunset. I love this photograph Ron captured ... their joy was so tangible.

And their passion was effortless.

And then Jonathan decided it was time to go to their wedding reception, picked up Katherine and carried her up the hill. He did his country proud :) And we got a really good look at her "Sex in the City" shoes, which made it all the more worth it.

Donna Joy of Sedona Sweet Arts created their delicious cake.

And after a delicate and thoughtful "cake cutting" and "kiss," Katherine smashed the cake when Jonathan taunted her with the suggestion.

The night at the Agave of Sedona ended with more fun ... and a very sexy first dance. Music was provided by the awesome Bobby Russell of Sedona Sounds.

Congratulations Kat & Jon!

Faye's Grandkids

This year a special woman came into our life who loves babies! She comes over about once a week just to hold our sweet Ruby (so I can get some editing done :)

Faye's grandkids came to spend a week visiting their grandmother ... and here is one of my favorite photos from our session together.

Jeanne + Harout

They were married on May 2nd at the gorgeous Rancho Los Lagos in Sedona.

Jeanne looked so happy as she was getting ready surrounded by family in her & Harout's home in the Village of Oak Creek. Hair & Make-up by Patricia Vega in Sedona.

Their sweet dogs rested before the ceremony.

The landscape at Rancho Los Lagos in Sedona was breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for Jeanne & Harout's vows to love each other forever. Karen Lynn, Sedona Wedding Planner, performed a thoughtful ceremony and also coordinated Jeanne & Harout's gorgeous wedding.

They were glowing the entire day! After the ceremony, toasts and appetizers created by the delicious Dahl & DiLuca were enjoyed lakeside.

Then we journeyed up to the butte at Rancho Los Lagos for very romantic sunset portraits.

It was magical with Cathedral Rock in the background.

As it should be, Jeanne & Harout forgot about our cameras quite often.

Jeanne's stunning flowers were created by Events by Showstoppers of Sedona.

Harout created this exquisite wedding piece for Jeanne. Harout is a very talented jewelry designer.

Jeanne & Harout's first dance. Their reception was held at the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa and lasted well into the night. Their beautiful cake was created by Sedona Cake Couture.

A hilarious moment at the reception when a toast was offered by a precocious guest. I love Jeanne's reaction!

Congratulations Jeanne & Harout!

Kim + Matt

They were married on April 25th at the beautiful Sedona Golf Resort.

Kim looked amazing. She got ready with the help of her mom, sister and bridesmaids in the dressing room at the Sedona Golf Resort.

Matt's reaction at seeing Kim was priceless! Could his jaw drop any lower? The beautiful ceremony was performed by Rev. Maria Grace.

Kim & Matt were ecstatic as they were pronounced husband and wife.

Kim's stunning ring.

After their ceremony and family portraits, we took a quiet walk on the golf course for their romantic portraits. The light was gorgeous! Kim's bouquet was created by Bliss Extraordinary Floral in Sedona.

The way they looked at each other ...

And enjoyed being together enhanced every moment of their celebration. It was contagious!

A little cutie watching and waiting for Kim & Matt. She was totally smooshed up against the door.

The table decorations were super creative and unusual. It was quite impressive that Kim designed and created them herself (and was totally humble about it). Their beautiful (and delicious) cake was created by Sedona Sweet Arts.

At the reception after the toasts, Matt's sisters performed a hilarious roast.

They wrote new lyrics to The Lonely Goatherd from the Sound of Music. You might remember it as the yodeling song. And they had photographs of Kim & Matt enlarged for props. Matt's family would definitely be the life of every party.

Their romantic first dance.

The proud, loving look on Kim's dad's face as he watched his daughter dance with her new husband. It is the look that every girl who has dreamed of a wedding wishes from her father.

It was a wonderful night. It was the night of Kim's parents anniversary (somewhere past three decades). Not quite as long as Matt's parents marriage, which was also celebrated as DJ Bobby Russell kept the dance floor full with all the married couples in attendance. Speaking of the music, I had Ron ask Bobby several times what songs he was playing so that we could download them and enjoy them later.

Congratulations Matt & Kim! We wish you the best!
