Randy + Bruce

Spring finally arrived in Sedona with a beautiful elopement on March 19, 2009 at the Sedona JCC.

Before the wedding, Rabbi Alicia Magal placed a veil on Randy's head in reverence to the biblical story of Jacob. Bruce lifted the veil to Randy's sparkling eyes and it was a magical moment.

They said their vows under a huppah, a jewish wedding canopy, that was brought back from Israel by one of the synagogue's congregants.

Rabbi Magal blessed their marriage. Randy & Bruce share great smiles and a tallit, a jewish prayer shawl.

I love this moment because it is so wonderful. After the wedding ceremony, Randy & Bruce had some private moments together, the yichud. Then Rabbi Magal brought a bottle of champagne to offer a toast. It was really touching, as Randy & Bruce were in Sedona without friends and family, but still their wedding was shared and cherished.

I found a lovely trail near the synagogue, aptly called "Mystic," for some romantic portraits.

Their "Hollywood" kiss.

And Randy's perfect idea for a wedding portrait.

Mazel Tov!
