Summer Solstice

Jennifer & Jason were married on June 21st at a gorgeous private residence in Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona.

Jennifer & Jason blended their families to include three daughters and a son. All three girls took turns helping Jennifer button up her dress. This is a photo with Audrey. Jennifer's make-up was done by Liz Margin.

The flower girls ... Alyson, Audrey, and Hailey.

The ceremony was performed by the lovely Maria Grace of Two Hearts One Life Weddings of Sedona. The location was gorgeous and perfect for the 37 kids that attended the wedding, and as a side note has a very special place in my heart. When I first started visiting Sedona with my parents in the 90's, we would stay at a beautiful B&B called Castle in the Canyon, which is now this private residence and the site of Jennifer & Jason's wedding.

Jennifer & Jason and their four kids all participated in a sand ceremony that represented the beautiful start of a new family.

After the ceremony, some beautiful portraits ... Andrew & Jason.

The cutest girls ever.

The newlyweds enjoying a moment at Oak Creek.

At the reception, there was the most amazing candy table for the kids. Andrew thought it was the best thing ever!

Their reception was fairytale. The design and catering was created by the amazing Rosalie's of Sedona, beautiful flowers by Bliss Extraordinary Floral, and a delicious cake with white chocolate cigars by Sedona Sweet Arts.

Almost 2

Sweet Lola is almost two. I've been wanting to take photos of her at Page Springs for awhile now and today we bravely ventured off with our dog Elvis. It was relatively without mishap, if you don't count the blackberries she kept eating off the ground or almost jumping into the fish pond trying to catch the ducks.

This is my favorite photo from the shoot.

Katie + Jeremy

They were married on June 14th at Tlaquepaque in Sedona.

I know this isn't the traditional getting ready photograph of the bride to start with but it was so elegant and sexy that I couldn't help myself.

A great reaction from a few of Katie's bridesmaids and mom.

Leaving her suite at Los Abrigados Resort & Spa where Katie got ready with her bridal party. It's only a five minute walk to Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village.

Katie & Jeremy's ceremony was on the Patio de las Campanas at Tlaquepaque. This wonderful view of their wedding was photographed by Ron. It really makes me happy when we can offer two camera coverage of wedding ceremonies because we have time to photograph great angles like this one.

Katie was glowing!

Yes, Jeremy was too.

I wanted to include this little movie star in the making. He had his hand up every time I pointed the camera at him ... I think he pegged me as paparazzi.

A stunning bridal portrait.

A debonair groom.

Enjoying their first five minutes of being married (and almost alone).

Tlaquepaque is such a fun place to take photographs because there is so much variety in its atmosphere.

Their reception at Calle Independencia at Tlaquepaque was gorgeous. Catering and styling was created by the amazing Rosalie's of Sedona, the stunning flowers were designed by Bliss Extraordinary Floral, and their delicious cakes were from Sedona Sweet Arts.

Their first dance.

Toasts from the best man.

This seems like a great photo to end with. This groomsman was reenacting his passing out during the wedding ceremony. This time he was luckier as the bridesmaids were there to comfort him.

Donna + Matt

They were married on 6.7.08 at the Agave in Sedona.

It was a beautiful celebration with gorgeous flowers by Events by Show Stoppers, a delicious cake by Sedona Sweet Arts, and incredible views and gourmet fare at the Agave. The bride was very shy and her groom was doting.

It's a very cool story of how they met ... let's hope I get it right in all its cool details. Matt just started his job as a police officer and was on a stake out for burglars. It was 3AM and he saw a light on in a building that had a recent rash of break-ins. He called in for back up and went to investigate. There was sweet Donna with the key to her father's office surfing the internet. The building in the background of this photo was the scene of the "crime" and their "first date."

I love this photo because of Donna's reaction.

And this is how they really feel about wedding photos!

A few amazing bridal portraits of this original bride!

Stephanie + Brian

They were married on June 5th at L'Auberge de Sedona in an intimate ceremony amongst family and friends.

Stephanie's beautiful jewelry amidst a breathtaking Arizona backdrop.

Her beautiful bouquet from Bliss Extraordinary Floral with the coolest & most original peacock feathers.

I love this photo of Stephanie while she was having her make-up done by the talented Liz Margin. Stephanie's gorgeous hair was designed by the hilarious Jenny Bertolini of the Bella Salon of Sedona.

Stephanie's oldest daughter Maya was adorable and so excited. Stephanie's sister helped her get ready.

The stunning bride!

Their ceremony was creekside at L'Auberge de Sedona with Brian's friend officiating.

Ahhh ... the romantic portraits ... I love this part of the day. It gives couples a chance to focus on each other during their whirlwind celebration.

At sunset we ventured up the hill to get the fabulous red rock background.

I love the way Brian is looking at Stephanie while his father offers his blessing during toasts.

A beautiful moment between Stephanie and Brian with their youngest daughter Zoe.

The fabulous cake created by Sedona Cake Couture.
