Photo Montage

I just added a beautiful product for my clients that I am so excited about. You can now order photo montages (also known as slideshows) from your weddings or photo shoots. You choose the music and you choose the photographs (up to 200). They can be viewed on your computer or your television. Prices start at $200 and include a DVD and online viewing. It is a wonderful way to view and share your photographs!

Check this photo montage out!

John + Brandy

They decided when they got married almost 5 years ago that they would have a professional photo shoot done every year or so as a gift to themselves (with gentle reminders from Brandy's mom). So they drove up from Phoenix and spent the afternoon in Sedona with Ron and I.

We started at Tlaquepaque and as you can tell it was a good start.

Brandy is a traveling nurse and John finishes school in September so that they can travel (and work) around the country together.

Out came Cinnamon and Serious and we headed over to Los Abrigados for some more family photos.

I think this one will be their favorite!

Katherine + Peter

They were married on May 10th at Merry Go Round in Sedona. It was quite the wedding adventure because the road was so bumpy getting there that the most comfortable ride is probably in a jeep.

Katherine's dad escorted her to the ceremony up a very steep incline.

Aside from the amazing location, which you'll see in a moment, the wedding details were very cool. The guests all had purple parasols to protect them from the morning sun and each had a flower from Katherine's bouquet that they handed to her as she walked down the aisle.

Rev. Andrew Murphy of Heart of Sedona Weddings performed a beautiful and thoughtful ceremony.

This was the moment after the "best wedding kiss" ever. Ron and I tell brides they have the choice between a long kiss or a bunch of short kisses -- and it enables us to get a great photo after having very sad experiences of wedding couples pecking quickly after being pronounced husband and wife. So we were totally thrilled by Katherine & Peter's 4 minute passionate kiss!

Their joyful recessional.

We were very excited that they wanted to venture to the "edge of the world." And we made some amazing photographs of Katherine & Peter who are obviously fearless of heights.

Congratulations!

Heather + John

They were married on May 9th at Red Rock Crossing in Sedona. It was an intimate elopement.

The processional over Oak Creek.

Rev. Andrew Murphy of Heart of Sedona Weddings performed a beautiful sunset ceremony. Cathedral Rock is their backdrop.

Heather + John's reaction right after being announced husband and wife.

A beautiful moment.

Finally spring has arrived in Sedona and the greenery and light are gorgeous.

I love this photograph that Ron took of the newlyweds enjoying each other.

This is a very symbolic image as Heather & John met swing dancing three years ago and part of their courtship was learning swing dancing together.

They were a super nice couple and Ron & I had a great time witnessing their elopement and making beautiful photographs of their celebration. Congratulations!

Sue + Steve

They will be married on July 12 this summer so we spent an afternoon together at Red Rock Crossing in Sedona to create some gorgeous engagement photos.

Ron and I were talking about their photo shoot this morning. He knew that I couldn't wait to see the photographs, we had taken them only 36 hours ago :) Sue + Steve look like they belong together. They exude so much happiness; the kind you wish everyone could experience and feel. They should have 15 babies together because you know they will be stunning.

Their wedding will be at Los Abrigados Resort & Spa in Sedona. The extraordinary Liz Margin did Sue's make-up. (I cannot wait until Sue comes back for her bridal portraits next month!)

Graham's Bar Mitzvah

He was called to the Torah at the JCC of Sedona on May 3rd, and Graham wowed his family and community with the spectacular job he did leading the service.

Reciting the Jewish prayer, The Shema.

Reading the Torah, which is in Hebrew. Graham's grandparents watch from the background and his Hebrew teacher Dorit stands beside him.

Graham's parents were of course full of pride and joy.

Rabbi Alicia Magal of the JCC congratulates Graham on his accomplishment and blesses him.

Graham's parents have the opportunity in front of the congregation and all their guests to kvell over their son.

After the ceremony and kiddush, Graham and all of his friends take the Sedona Trolley to L'Auberge de Sedona for a beautiful luncheon.

Graham's delicious cake from Sedona Cake Couture.

The Zen garden theme was created by Showstoppers of Sedona.

As part of the entertainment for the kids, they were able to make 7 second videos. Graham and his adorable sister Shelby perform for theirs.

Graham's parents enjoyed themselves too!
Congratulations to all of you!

Angela + Damian

They were married on April 26th in the Chapel at Tlaquepaque in Sedona.

Angela's mother helped her get ready at the lovely El Portal in Sedona. I adore her mother's reaction.

Then Angela waited for the wedding ceremony to begin in the bridal suite at Tlaquepaque. I love this photo of Angela's bouquet with her elegant reflection in the mirror.

Angela's father was the minister for their wedding ceremony, and he requested that I not take a lot of photographs in the chapel to respect the sacredness of their ceremony... here is one from their recessional.

I love this photograph of Angela's brother giving her heartfelt congratulations with Damian in the foreground.

After the ceremony we snuck away to Marg's Draw for some romantic sunset portraits. The sun was shining, the light was gorgeous, and Angela & Damian looked so happy and beautiful together.

A bridal portrait of Angela. Wow!

Her original bouquet.

Their rings were spectacular. Damian's ring was made of tungsten and it was quite heavy.

Their reception was at the delicious Cucina Rustica, one of my favorite restaurants in Sedona. Angela was so animated during their cake cutting that I had to include both of these photos.

Congratulations on your marriage!

Susana + Shawn

They were married on April 25th at the Church of the Red Rocks in Sedona.

Susana looked breathtaking as she got ready at the Hilton in Sedona.

Her mom was so happy and proud and excited.

Susana & Shawn's beautiful wedding rings. The background blue is from her bridesmaids' dresses which contrasted gorgeously with the red rocks of Sedona.

During their beautiful ceremony at the Church of the Red Rocks.

As a side note, you are probably wondering why you can't see the gorgeous view of the red rocks behind them through the windows of the church. There are strict rules for photographers not to use flash during the ceremony as it is a distraction to the sacredness of the event. Since it is darker inside the church - in order to expose Susana & Shawn properly, the background gets washed out.

Ron took this photo (and the next) as they were so joyful in their recessional.

I love the way they look at each other.

A formal portrait after the ceremony in the Church of the Red Rocks.

At this point I'm allowed to use flash, and you can see the big difference it makes in balancing the light in the church and outside. It does the view justice and more accurately replicates what their guests were privileged to see during the church service.

Moments after the wedding ceremony in a back room with Susana's sister, her maid of honor, and Shawn's brother, his best man.

A portrait of beautiful Susana.

And her beautiful husband Shawn.

They look stunning together!

Their reception was at the wonderful Sedona Golf Resort so we also had time for portraits on the golf course.

I used the pond as the background for this ethereal photo.

One of the thoughtful details from their wedding reception. We are so happy for the two of you and we were honored to be a part of your wedding celebration and the beginning of your new life together!
