Susana + Shawn

They were married on April 25th at the Church of the Red Rocks in Sedona.

Susana looked breathtaking as she got ready at the Hilton in Sedona.

Her mom was so happy and proud and excited.

Susana & Shawn's beautiful wedding rings. The background blue is from her bridesmaids' dresses which contrasted gorgeously with the red rocks of Sedona.

During their beautiful ceremony at the Church of the Red Rocks.

As a side note, you are probably wondering why you can't see the gorgeous view of the red rocks behind them through the windows of the church. There are strict rules for photographers not to use flash during the ceremony as it is a distraction to the sacredness of the event. Since it is darker inside the church - in order to expose Susana & Shawn properly, the background gets washed out.

Ron took this photo (and the next) as they were so joyful in their recessional.

I love the way they look at each other.

A formal portrait after the ceremony in the Church of the Red Rocks.

At this point I'm allowed to use flash, and you can see the big difference it makes in balancing the light in the church and outside. It does the view justice and more accurately replicates what their guests were privileged to see during the church service.

Moments after the wedding ceremony in a back room with Susana's sister, her maid of honor, and Shawn's brother, his best man.

A portrait of beautiful Susana.

And her beautiful husband Shawn.

They look stunning together!

Their reception was at the wonderful Sedona Golf Resort so we also had time for portraits on the golf course.

I used the pond as the background for this ethereal photo.

One of the thoughtful details from their wedding reception. We are so happy for the two of you and we were honored to be a part of your wedding celebration and the beginning of your new life together!
